Organisational Setup at RSETIs Unit

Director of the Institute

  • On Deputation from Sponsoring Bank
  • Preferance shall be given to official from Rural background
  • Shall have the passion for teaching
  • Should have fluency in the local language
  • Willing to walk an extra mile
  • Working experience as LDM / Branch Head of a Rural branch preferred

Role of Director

To involve himself -

  • in preparing need based Annual Action Plan for the training programmes
  • in organizing Awareness camps and Mobilizing applications
  • in handling sessions on Behavioral aspects
  • in keeping good liaison with Banks/officials of DRDA, NABARD, other Govt. agencies, NGOs in the area etc.,
  • in follow-up activities of the trained candidates
  • conducting Training Need Assessment (TNA) every year

In-house Faculty

  • On outsourcing basis from open market
  • Shall be a Post Graduate viz. MSW / M.A. in Rural Development / M.A. in Sociology / Psychology / B. Sc. (Ag.)/ B.A. with B.Ed. etc
  • Shall have flair for teaching with Computer Knowledge
  • Approximate salary : 15,000 pm

Role of In-house Faculty

The faculty shall involve in -

  • assisting the Director in day to day administration of the RSETI
  • taking sessions on behavioral aspects
  • follow-up activities of trained candidates
  • Finalizing guest faculties / writing the daily log, verifying accounts, preparing Reports/ correspondence work etc.,

Guest Faculty

  • He shall have sufficient knowledge about the subject / trade
  • Academic qualification not compulsory
  • He shall have flair for teaching
  • His teaching shall focus more on self employment, rather than academic interest
  • Normally successful past trainees are coming as trainers
  • Approximate Remuneration : 500 per day with free boarding and lodging facility

Office Assistant

  • On outsourcing basis from open market
  • Shall be a Graduate viz. BSW / BA / B. Com with Computer Knowledge
  • Knowledge in Basic Accounts is a preferred qualification
  • Approximate salary : 10,000 pm

Role of Office Assistant

The Office Assistant should involve in -

  • maintaining and updating all Registers /Ledgers
  • writing accounts on daily basis & tallying the books of accounts
  • assisting the Director / Faculty in day to day functioning of the RSETI
  • to effectively take up the follow up of the trained candidates at regular intervals

Composition of Local Advisory Committee (LAC)

  • The District Collector is the Chairman
  • The Regional Head of the RSETI sponsoring bank to be the Co-Chairman
  • Shall meet compulsorily once in a quarter
  • LDM, DDM: NABARD, GM:DIC, PD: DRDA, two eminent personalities etc are the members
  • Members from AIR / Doordarshan may be inducted.
